How a Nutritionist Gone Rogue Can Help You Finally Reach Your Health & Weight Goals 

I'm a retired nutritionist. Admittedly an odd thing for a someone with a website called NutritionSheila.com to say. Weirder yet, as let someone who believes her purpose is life is motivate others to live their happiest, healthiest, well-nourished life. . 

Years ago I went to college and got all sorts of degrees: biology, pre-med, nutrition and dietetics - never leave college kids. I went out into the world bright-eyed with dreams of helping people eat well and turn their health around, one person at a time.

And that's what I did, for years, repeatedly. First as a nutritionist for the Wyoming Women, Infant and Children (WIC) program and then as a private practice nutritionist in Wyoming and then in Arizona.

In that time I learned things they simply cannot teach you in college. I learned that regardless of age, income, education or vocation, it's the same issues that affect people.

​In meeting with everyone from young mothers living below the poverty line to clients in their sprawling mansions, it really hit home: everyone eats. Everyone eats and few know what to eat in a society with a very broken food system and constant bombardment of diet product ads.

It was that realization that lead to my retirement. I hung up my proverbial hat and opted to take another path.

These days I'm taking all the common threads that I saw amongst clients and putting it out into the world in writing. Creating articles, blogs, recipes, eBooks and eCourses loaded with information you can use in real life and access on your own schedule. Your body. Your health. Your time. Your way.

If you're sick of the overwhelm, nonsense and malarkey of the food and diet industry, NutritionSheila.com has been created for you. A chill place you can get the resources you need along with a couple laughs.  

In addition to nutrition, I'm a self-improvement audiobook junkie who loves cooking, adventuring, exploring the outdoors with my dog, practicing yoga and keeping it real.
