Let's compare. Corporate Bucks PSL started including a bit of pumpkin in it's slurry last year because consumers caught wind that there wasn't actually pumpkin in their pumpkin spice latte. Instead there was a lot of lubricants, stabilizers, artificial colors and flavors, not to mention 400-500 calories minimum and setting you back $5! Bleh!
Without a drive, wait in a line and wasted paper cup, this recipe has superior flavor, never had to be petitioned to disclose it's ingredients because there are only 5 ingredients and they're all natural. In place of toxic food additives this latte is slap-loaded with nutrition. Nutrients that are great for blood sugar regulation, healthy weight, clear skin, regularity and even boosting your iron. The fiber in the pumpkin puree creates a creamy mouth feel that is everything without the need for topping it with whip cream or blending it with chemicals. Fall perfected.
Highly recommend using organic ingredients. It's outrageous what Corporate Bucks or any coffee house charges for a latte made with hormone laden milk. If you're using a milk replacement such as soy, almond or coconut make sure that it does NOT contain carrageenan or added sugar. Check your spices for additives, especially for those individuals with sulfide sensitivities.
6 Oz Strongly Brewed Coffee
6 Oz Milk of Choice (I use coconut milk.)
2 TBS Canned Pumpkin (I use Libby’s Organic.)
1 Tsp Maple Syrup
½ Tsp Pumpkin Spice Blend
